Replacing Mower Drive Belt (122 cm [48 in.] Mower Deck)

1. Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in SAFETY section.)

2. Remove mower deck. (See Removing Mower Deck in the SERVICE MOWER section.)

   Remove five cap screws (A and C) and left and right belt shields (B and D).

4. Remove drive belt.

   1. Remove cap screws and belt guide.

   2. Loosen left side sheaves (E).

   3. Remove mower belt.

5. Inspect belt for wear or damage; replace as necessary.

6. Clean top surface of the mower deck and sheaves.

7. Install belt on the mower deck as shown. Make sure that belt is in the groove of each sheave.

8. Tighten sheaves to specification.

   Spindle Sheave Cap Screw Torque	Torque	47 N·m (35 lb·ft)

9. Install belt guide and shields.(See Removing and Installing Machine Shields in SERVICE MOWER section.)

10. Install mower deck.
