Cleaning Mower Deck

1. Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in SAFETY section.)

   Attach a garden hose to wash port (A) on left side of mower deck.

3. Turn on water.

4. Start engine.

5. Push throttle lever to full throttle position.

6. Lift switch to engage mower blades.

7. Flush water under deck for approximately one minute.

8. Push switch down to stop mower.

9. Stop engine.

10. Turn off water and remove garden hose from wash port.

11. Any time shields are removed, clean all debris from the top surface of the mower deck and under all sheaves before shield installation.

    For more cleaning, remove machine shields and clean top of deck and around all sheaves. (See Removing and Installing Machine Shields in SERVICE MOWER section.)
