Moving Machine by Hand

Avoid Injury! When the bypass valve is open, the machine has unrestricted motion.

• Do not open the bypass valve when the machine is stopped on an incline to prevent it from going downhill out of control.

Transmission damage may occur if the machine is towed or moved incorrectly:

• Move machine by hand only.

• Do not use another vehicle to move machine.

• Do not tow machine.

Both bypass pump release valves must be fully closed (pushed towards rear of machine) during normal vehicle operation.

When the machine needs to be moved without starting the engine, use the bypass valves:

  1. Lock the park brake by moving motion control levers to fully outward position.

On both transmissions, loosen the bypass lever knobs (A and B) and push forward all the way to the front of the slot to open position.

    Forward Travel Of Knob

Tighten bypass lever knob on both sides while continuing to push lever knob forward, or the bypass lever will spring back into operating position.
  4. Unlock park brake by moving the motion control levers to inward position.
  5. Push machine to desired location. Due to hydraulic system drag, machine will move slowly.
  6. On both transmissions, loosen the bypass lever knobs (A and B) and push rearward (towards the back of the machine) to closed position.
  7. Tighten bypass lever knob on both sides.
