Removing and Installing Battery


Removal

  1. Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)

  2. Unlock battery cover. Raise and secure the battery cover upright position.

    Disconnect negative (-) battery terminal (C).


  4. Remove red cover (E), and disconnect positive (+) battery terminal (D).

  5. Remove rubber strap (F) from the frame tab (G).

  6. Remove battery (A) from the seating base (B).


Installation

Installation is done in the reverse order of removal.

  • Clean all electrical connections.
  • Tighten terminals, install red cover on positive (+) terminal (D), and install rubber strap (F).
