Adjusting Cutting Height-Lift-Type

1. Position machine on flat level ground.

2. Adjust cutting height/tailwheel position. (See ADJUSTING CUTTING HEIGHT/TAILWHEEL POSITION in Preparing the Cutter section.)

3. Lower cutter until tailwheels touch the ground. With tailwheels in the "trailing" position, make sure skid shoes are parallel to the ground. Adjust tractor center link as necessary.

4. Set lower limit on tractor rockshaft control. (See your tractor Operator's manual.)

5. Adjust tractor center link until hitch pivot (B) touches hitch at location (A).

6. Lengthen tractor center link 12 mm (1/2 in.).

7. Slowly raise cutter to full lift height, checking for driveline interference with front of cutter frame. Adjust tractor lift links to limit lift height if necessary. (See your tractor Operator's manual.)
