Adjusting Cutting Height-Pull-Type
1.
Position machine on flat level ground.
NOTE:
Blade cut is approximately 25.4 mm (1 in.) higher than skid shoes.
2.
Extend or retract lift cylinder using tractor SCV to adjust cutting height as desired at rear of machine.

NOTE:
Cylinder stops (provided with machine) are used to return cutter to same cutting height after cylinder is extended for any reason. (i.e. Transporting) Various sizes of cylinder stops are available.
3.
Install the correct number/size of cylinder stops (A) around lift cylinder rod as required to attain desired cutting height.

4.
Loosen jam nut (B) and adjust cap screw (A) to raise or lower front of cutter so skid shoes are parallel to the ground.
Turn cap screw as follows:

Clockwise to raise front of cutter
-
Counterclockwise to lower cutter
5.
Tighten jam nut.

6.
With cutter at desired cutting height, the front and rear drivelines between the tractor and cutter gear case should be in a straight line. Raise or lower pedestal (A) if necessary:
a.
Support driveline and pedestal assembly.
b.
Remove cotter pin and pin (B).
c.
Align holes in pedestal with holes in hitch to position front and rear drivelines in a straight line.
d.
Install pin and cotter pin.
