Follow Safe Transport Procedures
The cutter is wider than the tractor. Beware of oncoming traffic and roadside obstructions. Travel at a reasonable and safe speed. Do not exceed weight and speed guidelines shown in Tow Loads Safely found in the Safety section. Reduce speed considerably when traveling over rough ground. If cutter is equipped with laminated tires, do not transport at speeds greater than 24 km/h (15 mph). Tires may be damaged. Stop slowly. Sound tractor horn before backing cutter up. Avoid possible loss of control or tractor overturn. Tow only with correctly ballasted tractor. If equipped with laminated tires, never tow cutter faster than 24 km/h (15 mph). |
