Attaching Pull-Type Cutter to Tractor Drawbar

1. Adjust tractor drawbar. (See procedures in Preparing the Tractor section.)

2. Remove hitch pin from tractor drawbar and cutter hitch, if equipped.

3. Back up tractor to cutter. Align tractor drawbar with cutter hitch.

4. Engage tractor parking brake and/or place transmission in "Park".

5. Shut off tractor engine and remove key.

6. Install 28 mm (1-1/8 in.) hitch pin and spring locking pin.

If equipped with optional swivel clevis hitch; Position jaws (A) on hitch opposite of each other, as shown. Install threaded pin.

7. Route safety chain through slot in drawbar adapter (if equipped) and connect to tractor drawbar supporting structure. Do not fasten to drawbar. Remove all slack.

8. Attach PTO driveline, hydraulic hoses and tail/warning light harness, if equipped. (See procedures in this section.)

9. Turn handle on jackstand to take load off of jackstand.

10. Remove quick-lock pin, L-pin and jackstand.

11. Install jackstand in storage location with handle facing toward tractor. Retain with L-pin and quick-lock pin.
