Install Main PTO Driveline

1. Remove lock nut (B), washer (C) and tapered pin (A) from main PTO driveline yoke.

2. Remove paint from intermediate driveline shaft using a wire brush.

3. Apply multipurpose grease on shaft.

4. Open cover (A).

5. Align splines of yoke on main PTO driveline (D) with shaft and slide yoke onto shaft.

6. Align hole in yoke with groove in shaft and install tapered pin, washer and lock nut. Install tapered part of pin facing groove around shaft. Tighten lock nut to specifications.

Specification

Tapered Pin Lock Nut -Torque (35 mm [1-3/8 in.] shaft) 150 N·m (110 lb-ft)
Torque (44 mm [1-3/4 in.] shaft) 220 N·m (160 lb-ft)

7. Close cover (A).

8. Attach shield chains (B and C).
