IMPORTANT: Kinking or twisting hoses during installation shortens hose life drastically. Be sure to follow proper procedure.

Tighten fitting or nut to torque value as shown above. Use one wrench to hold body and one to tighten nut.

In the case of a hose, it may be necessary to use three wrenches to prevent twist; one on body, one on nut, and one on hose fitting.

Tighten "O-Ring Groove" fittings with 9/16-18 thread size to specifications.

Specification

O-Ring Groove Fitting (9/16-18) -Torque 24 N·m (212 lb-in.)

Tighten "O-Ring Groove" fittings with 3/4-16 thread size to specifications.

Specification

O-Ring Groove Fitting (3/4-16) -Torque 46 N·m (34 lb-ft)

460 Loader; "Face Seal" fitting is 11/16-16 thread size. Tighten swivel nut to specifications.

Specification

Face Seal Fitting (11/16-16) -Torque 24 N·m (212 lb-in.)
