Avoiding Injury or Death from Rollover Accidents

CAUTION: To help prevent personal injury or death caused by rollover accidents when handling round bales:

Equip the tractor with a rollover protective structure (ROPS). Wear your seat belt.

DO NOT handle bales that exceed bale weight of 450 kg (1000 lb) or a diameter of 1327 mm (54 in.).

Be sure tractor tire spacing and rear ballast is correct before using loader.

Stop loader gradually when lowering or lifting loads.

When handling round bales on a slope, always approach the bale with the tractor facing uphill.
