Detaching Grapple From 541 Loader

CAUTION: To prevent bodily injury caused from a falling grapple, always use the parking stand when grapple is removed from loader. Park grapple on a hard level surface.

1. Open grapple completely and detach bucket.

2. Close grapple completely.

3. Extend bucket cylinders until grapple tines are parallel to ground.

4. Lower loader until tines are 100 mm (4 in.) from ground.

5. Shut off engine, engage parking brake and relieve hydraulic pressure in grapple hydraulic lines.

6. Disconnect grapple hoses from loader.

7. Lower parking stand (A) and lock in down position.

8. Remove pins (B) and place in storage position.

9. Lower grapple to ground and extend bucket cylinders.
