Attaching Grapple to 541 Loader

1. Remove bucket.

2. Extend bucket cylinders until bucket attaching holders (A) are parallel to ground.

3. Drive up to grapple so that hooks (B) on grapple frame engage bar (C) on loader.

4. Slowly retract bucket cylinders until bushings on holders engage pockets (D).

5. Raise loader until grapple tines and parking stand are 100 mm (4 in.) off ground.

6. Shut off engine, engage parking brake and relieve hydraulic pressure in grapple hydraulic lines.

7. Connect hydraulic hoses from grapple to loader.

8. Install pins (E) and quick lock pins on both sides of grapple.

9. Store parking stand (F).

10. Open grapple completely and install bucket.
