Ballast Box

A ballast box is used to carry weight on the tractor hitch, if required, to help maintain tractor/loader stability.

Two ballast boxes are available:

• Small ballast box (shown with extension.) (See loader Predelivery Manual to assemble extensions.) Small ballast box has a Category I hitch. See tractor attachments or parts for conversion bushings.
• Large ballast box has a Category II hitch.
