Rear Ballast Requirements

causym CAUTION: To help prevent personal injury or death from tractor/loader rollover, add recommended amount of ballast to tractor. The amount of ballast listed is the minimum required for normal loader operation. For some operations, additional ballast may be required to maximize stability.

NOTE: Ballast given is minimum required with rear tread set at 1800 mm (71 in.) or greater.

See your tractor Operator's Manual to add ballast to rear wheels.

7000 Series Tractors; If adding ballast to rear hitch, ballast must be installed 1200 mm (47 in.) behind rear axle. Minimum ballast required is 1600 kg (3528 lb).
