Avoiding Injury or Death from Falling Round Bales

CAUTION: To help prevent personal injury or death caused by falling loads:

DO NOT handle round bales unless loader is equipped with an approved bale handling attachment. Otherwise, the bale can fall on the operator when the loader is raised.

Selective control valves have an automatic cylinder extend position (detent) that must not be used for loader operation. Unintentional movement of the controls to the detent position may cause the loader to raise to full height unexpectedly and the load to fall back on the operator. (See tractor Operator's Manual or Preparing the Tractor section of this manual to make adjustments.)

Handle raised loads with caution.

Carry loads low and drive slowly.
