First 3, 10, and Every 50 Hours

Tighten Mounting Frame Hardware-8000 Series Tractors

IMPORTANT: Help prevent damage to the tractor or loader caused by operating with loose mounting hardware. Tightening loader frame hardware after first 3 hours of loader operation is critical. Tighten again after 10 hours and every 50 hours thereafter.

Tighten nuts to specification using tightening sequence shown and then repeat.

Specification

Nuts -Torque 620 N·m (457 lb-ft)

Tighten cap screws (A and B) to specification.

Specification

Nuts -Torque 620 N·m (457 lb-ft)

NOTE: Cap screws (B) are in threaded holes. Some cap screws (A) have nuts welded to prevent turning. Use a wrench on nuts that are not welded.

Tighten hardware (A-D) to specifications.

Tighten MFWD Axle Housing and Kingpins (7000 and 8000 Series Tractors)

IMPORTANT: Help prevent damage to the tractor or loader caused by operating with loose mounting hardware. Tightening loader frame hardware after first 3 hours of loader operation is critical. Tighten again after 10 hours and every 50 hours thereafter.

Tighten four lower and upper kingpin retaining cap screws (A) on both ends of axle to specification.

Tighten axle housing-to-differential case cap screws (B) to specification.

Specification

Cap Screws -Torque 310 N·m (229 lb-ft)
