Using Telescoping Boom

Use the telescoping boom as lifting device. It fits only the forklift attachment.

causym CAUTION: To help prevent tractor/loader instability, never exceed the capacity of the tractor/loader used with the boom. The boom must be kept in horizontal working position when operating.

The maximum lift capacity of the boom is 1361 kg (3000 lb) fully retracted and 726 kg (1600 lb) fully extended.

Adjust forklift tines to narrowest position before operating boom.

Adjusting Boom Length

1. Lower forklift to ground. Remove quick-lock pin and pin (A).

2. Slide boom extension (B) to desired length.

3. Install pin (A) and retain with quick-lock pin.

Storing Telescoping Boom

Store boom in upright position when using forklift only.

1. Raise boom.

2. Lock boom to forklift frame using pin (A) and quick-lock pin.
