Symptom Problem Solution

Excessive wear

Cutting too low in abrasive soil.

Increase cutting height.

Bolt loosening

Inadequate torque on blade bolts.

Tighten blade bolts. (See REPLACING BLADES in Service section.)

Cutting in very wet conditions.

Do not operate in these conditions.

Cutting too low, scalping ground.

Cutting too low in rocky conditions.
