Uneven cut

Travel speed too fast.

Reduce travel speed.

Bent blades.

Bent blade holder.

Cutter not level side-to-side.

Adjust tractor lift links. (See ADJUSTING CUTTING HEIGHT/TAILWHEEL POSITION in Operating the Cutter section.)

Improper height adjustment.

Adjust cutting height. (See ADJUSTING CUTTING HEIGHT/TAILWHEEL POSITION in Operating the Cutter section.)

Low tractor tire pressure on one side.

Adjust tire pressure. (See your tractor Operator's manual.)

Turning too fast.

Reduce ground speed while turning.

Blades worn, dull, or bent.

Replace blades. (See REPLACING BLADES in Service section.)

Tractor tires push grass down.

Adjust tractor wheel spacing. (See your tractor Operator's manual.)

Grass too wet.

Wait for grass to dry.

Poor shredding

Excessive ground speed.

Reduce ground speed.

Incorrect cutting height setting.
