Removing Cutter from Storage

1. Review Operator's Manual and check adjustments.

2. Lubricate complete machine. This will force out any accumulated moisture in bearings. (See Lubrication and Maintenance section.)

3. Check gear case oil level. Fill as necessary. (See Lubrication and Maintenance section.)

4. Tighten hardware if needed. (See Lubrication and Maintenance section.)

IMPORTANT: Slip clutch components must be free to rotate when necessary. After long

idle periods, linings of slip clutch may draw moisture. Linings may bond to metal parts causing slip clutch to be ineffective, resulting in machine damage.

5. Free slip clutch. (See AS REQUIRED-ADJUSTING SLIP CLUTCH in Lubrication and Maintenance section.)

6. If any major parts have been replaced, make sure they run properly.
