Determining Required Ballasting for Typical Loader Use

1. Find the bucket size that matches your loader on the following chart.

2. Select the material that will be handled most commonly. The weight given is the Total Weight. (Total Weight = Bucket Weight + Material Weight.)

3. Use this value to add ballast to the tractor as necessary. (See LOADER REQUIRED MINIMUM BALLASTING in this section).
