Adding Ballast to 3-Point Hitch
Weight can be added to the ballast box (A) by adding material such as sand, concrete or Portland cement. If more weight is required, tractor Quik-tach weights may be used.
NOTE:
A ballast box extension is available to increase capacity of box.
A 3-Point Hitch mounted implement may be used as ballast, but it must meet weight requirements of the ballast chart. (See your John Deere dealer.)
