Attaching and Detaching Attachments
CAUTION:
Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin causing serious injury. Avoid the hazard by relieving pressure before disconnecting hydraulic or other lines. Tighten all connections before applying pressure. Search for leaks with a piece of cardboard. Protect hands and body from high pressure fluids.
If an accident occurs, see a doctor immediately. Any fluid injected into the skin must be surgically removed within a few hours or gangrene may result. 1.
If equipped with 4-in-1 Bucket or Boom-Mounted Front Blade with Hydraulic Angling Kit;
Disconnect hydraulic hoses from attachment as follows:
a.
Move control lever(s) back and forth and side-to-side (if applicable) several times to relieve system pressure. (See tractor Operator's Manual.)
b.
Push and hold collar on female coupler (B).
c.
Disconnect male coupler (A).
d.
Release collar on female coupler.
e.
Place cap (C) on hose end and insert plug (D) into female coupler.
f.
Repeat Steps b-e for remaining hydraulic hose connection.
