Setting Control Lever Stops (30, 40, 50 and 55 Series Tractors)
CAUTION:
Help prevent personal injury or death caused by objects falling on the operator. Poppet type selective control valves have an automatic cylinder extend position (detent) that must be locked out for loader operation. Unintentional movement of the control lever to the detent position may cause the loader to raise to full height unexpectedly and the load to fall back on the operator.
NOTE:
Spool type selective control valves do not have detent positions.
1.
Position stops (A) on loader bucket control lever (right-hand) to lock out automatic extend and retract.
2.
Position rear stop on loader lift control lever (left-hand) to lock out automatic extend. Position front stop to lock out automatic retract only if FLOAT is not desired.
