Prepare the Loader

1. Remove and discard shipping bands and wood blocks.

2. Remove parts (A-H) from inside bucket.

causym CAUTION: Approximate weight of bucket is 310 kg (685 lb). To help prevent bodily injury from falling bucket, always support with overhead hoist.

3. Remove bucket:

  • Bucket with hole (shown): Attach lifting eye (A) to bucket. Attach lifting loop (B) to eye and an overhead hoist and remove bucket. Lay flat on ground.
  • Bucket without hole: Place lifting strap around bucket, attach to an overhead hoist and remove bucket. Lay flat on ground.

causym CAUTION: Approximate weight of loader is 752 kg (1657 lb). To help prevent bodily injury from falling loader, support with overhead hoist during disassembly and assembly.

4. Attach lifting strap (A) to torque tube (B) and an overhead hoist.

5. Remove screws (D) and "L" brackets (C).

6. Lift loader off pallet and lower until flat on the ground.

7. Remove shipping wires (B) from lift cylinders.

8. Cut paint mask rings (A) off all cylinders.

NOTE: Remove plugs to extend cylinders manually.

9. Remove plugs from hydraulic lines.

10. Check lift cylinder position. (See CHECKING LIFT CYLINDER POSITION in Operating Loader section.)

11. 6000 and 7000 Series Tractors: Install lift cylinder stop. (See INSTALLING LIFT CYLINDER STOPS in Operating Loader section.)

12. Install parking stands. (Refer to procedures in separate Installation Instructions available online.)

13. Install bucket level indicator. (Refer to procedures in separate Installation Instructions available online.)

14. Install third-function oil lines, if ordered. (Refer to procedures in separate Installation Instructions available online.)

15. Install loader-to-tractor hydraulic hoses. (Refer to procedures in separate Installation Instructions available online.)
