Position Loader on Mounting Frames

1. Loosen fittings (A and B).


A-Fitting, Lift Cylinder-Head End (Blue Tie Band)
B-Fitting, Lift Cylinder-Rod End (Red Tie Band)

causym CAUTION: Approximate weight of loader without bucket/attachment:

  • Non-self leveling loader-531 kg (1171 lbs)

  • Self-leveling loader-752 kg (1657 lbs)

2. Attach lifting straps/chains to loader boom arms and overhead hoist.

3. Manually extend lift cylinders 150 mm (6 in.).

4. Start tractor engine and center between loader masts, stopping tractor when bottoms of masts are positioned directly over pins (A) on each side.

5. Shut off tractor engine and remove key.

6. Lower loader onto pins (A).

7. Remove lifting straps/chains from boom arms.

8. Turn cap screw (A) clockwise to raise wedge inside frame as high as possible. (See ADJUSTING WEDGE MOUNTING FRAME TO MAST in Service section.)

9. Wrap lifting strap/chain around torque tube and overhead hoist.

10. Raise front of loader until pins (B) can be inserted through mast and mounting frames on both sides of loader.

11. Slide latch handle spring pin (C) through slot.

12. Lower loader and remove lifting strap/chain.

13. Tighten hydraulic fittings (A and B) to specification.

Specification

Hose-to-Line Fitting -Torque 24 N·m (212 lb-in.)

14. Connect and route hydraulic hoses. Install tie bands where necessary. (Refer to procedures in Hose and Parts Installation Instructions available online.)
