Every Two Years (522 Only-If Equipped)

Lubricate bearings on single lever ICV (if equipped).

1. Early Version: Remove boot (A) by cutting tie band (B) and sliding boot up shaft.

Later Version: Pull off boot (A) and slide up shaft.

2. Apply grease liberally to the outside surface of each ball joint. Move lever in all directions to ensure lubricant penetrates ball joints.

3. Install boot.

4. Early Version: Secure boot to housing with large tie band.
