Prepare the Loader

CAUTION: Approximate weight of bucket and loader are:

• Bucket-266 kg (587 lb)

• Loader-441 kg (973 lb)

To help prevent bodily injury from falling loader, support with overhead hoist during disassembly and assembly.

IMPORTANT: Avoid crushing oil lines DO NOT wrap chains around torque tube. Chain will crush oil lines making replacement necessary.

1. Remove and discard banding and shipping brace. Remove parts container(s) and bucket from loader assembly.

2. Lay loader assembly down until flat on ground using an overhead hoist with lifting straps attached securely on both sides of loader.

3. Remove bucket timing rod from lift cylinder. Remove and discard hold-down straps, wire and wood pallet.

NOTE: Parking stands are used for shipping. Do not discard them.

4. Remove shipping banding and wire.

5. Install parking stands into each end of storage tube. Fasten with spring pin (A).

6. Install "L" pin and spring pin (B) on both sides of boom arm.

7. Install attachment locking pin (C) on both holder assemblies:

a. Insert cotter pin, attached to cable assembly, into hole in holder.

b. Separate cotter pin and bend arms to retain pin.

c. Insert quick-lock pin into storage position as shown.

10. Install third-function hydraulic oil lines, if ordered. (Refer to installation instructions available online.)

11. Install loader-to-tractor hydraulic hoses. (Refer to Installation Instructions available online.)
