Adding Ballast to Hitch

Three ballast box options are available as attachments:

  • Small box without extension.
  • Small box with extension (shown).
  • Large box.

Use sand, concrete or tractor weights in box to meet ballast requirements.

A 3-point hitch implement may be used as ballast, but it must meet weight required.

The following chart shows approximate total weights of the box with ballast materials. Use it as a guideline to add ballast to your tractor hitch.
