Attaching Loader (If Equipped with Parking Stands)
1.
Attach ballast box. (See procedure in Preparing the Tractor section.)
2.
Center tractor and loader so that mounting frame/mast holes align with holes in boom.
3.
Place transmission in
NEUTRAL
, to allow tractor movement, and release parking brake.
4.
Shut off engine and remove key.

5.
Align holes in loader and lift cylinder to tractor mast holes and attach using pins (A and B) and cotter pins (C).

CAUTION:
To avoid injury from escaping hydraulic oil under pressure, relieve pressure in the system before connecting hydraulic oil lines.
6.
Move control lever(s) up and down and side-to-side (if applicable) several times to relieve hydraulic system pressure.

CAUTION:
Help prevent personal injury caused by unexpected loader movement. Anticipated loader movement responds to control lever only if hoses are connected correctly.
IMPORTANT:
Before connecting hoses, make sure that fittings are free of dirt and debris.
NOTE:
Hose connections are identified by matching the color-coded cap on the hose end with the same color-coded plug on the control valve coupler. (If caps are missing or not equipped, see IDENTIFYING HOSE CONNECTIONS in Service section.)
7.
Couplers at ICV:
Connect hoses (A) using color-coded dust caps to match hoses to couplers.

a.
Connect hoses using color-coded dust caps to match hoses to couplers, if equipped.

b.
Attach upper hose bracket (B) on loader mast by installing spring pin (A).
c.
Attach lower hose bracket to tractor under foot platform by installing cap screw, washer and flange nut (C).

NOTE:
Remove parking stands on BOTH sides of loader. Right-hand side is shown.
Parking stands do not attach to loader for storage. Put in storage shed.
8.
Start tractor engine and extend bucket cylinders until stands are lifted off ground.
9.
Engage parking brake or place transmission in PARK and shut off tractor engine.
10.
Remove pins (C and B) and parking stand (A).
