Predelivery

After the rotary cutter has been completely set up, inspect it to be sure it is in good running condition before delivering it to the customer. The following checklist is a reminder of important points to inspect. Check off each item as it is found satisfactory or after proper adjustment has been made.

[ ] All safety shields and guards are in place.

[ ] Safety chain is attached.

[ ] FILL GEAR CASES WITH OIL. (See Assembly section.)

[ ] Check gear cases for leaks.

[ ] Check gear case levels and lubrication points. (See Lubrication and Maintenance section.)

[ ] All moving parts work freely.

[ ] Slip clutches not seized. (See FREEING SLIP CLUTCH in Service section.)

[ ] Tighten wheel bolts. (See procedure in Lubrication and Maintenance section.)

[ ] Check and tighten all hardware.

[ ] Check and tighten blade holder and blade bolts (See EVERY 50 HOURS in Lubrication and Maintenance section.)

[ ] Severe Duty Ag Tires: Tire pressures checked. (See procedure in Lubrication and Maintenance section.)

[ ] Cycle hydraulic cylinders two or three times. Check all hydraulic hoses and connections for oil leaks.

[ ] Raise and lower wings. Check for any interference or malfunction.

[ ] Decals intact and legible.

[ ] Check machine for damage. Touch up any scratches.

causym CAUTION: To help prevent personal injury from rotating blades or thrown objects, never walk or stand behind the rotary cutter during operation or run-in.

[ ] Operate rotary cutter for about one minute and check for excessive vibration or unusual gear case noises.

[ ] This rotary cutter has been inspected and checked. To the best of my knowledge, it is ready for delivery to the customer.
