Choosing Correct PTO Speed

IMPORTANT: Drive components can be damaged. Under no circumstances should a machine equipped for 540 rpm PTO be operated by a tractor equipped with 1000 rpm PTO. Nor should a 1000 rpm PTO machine be operated with a tractor equipped with 540 rpm PTO.

NOTE: Changing machine driveline only, does not convert machine from one PTO speed to the other. To change operating speed, gear cases must be changed to match driveline.

The rotary cutter is available with either 540 or 1000 PTO speed constant velocity drivelines.
