Raising Wings

causym CAUTION: To help prevent bodily injury or death from rotating blades or thrown objects when wings are raised, shut off tractor PTO before raising wings.

Perform this procedure on "LEVEL GROUND" only. Machine instability may be caused by weight shifting from one side to the other as the wings are being raised.

Help prevent bodily injury or death from falling wings. Clear area of bystanders when raising wings.

DO NOT walk under wings, until wing lock pins are in place, wings are held up by hydraulic pressure only.

1. Park rotary cutter and tractor on level ground.

2. Shut off tractor PTO.

3. Raise wings fully.

causym CAUTION: To help prevent bodily injury or death from falling wings, stay clear of wings until wing lock is in place.

4. Remove quick-lock pin and move wing lock pin from storage hole (B) to hole (A) to secure wing.

5. Repeat on opposite wing.
