Removing and Installing Driveline Splitter-to-Center Gear Case
1.
Remove quick-lock pins and raise splitter gear case shield and center driveline shield.
2.
Remove locking screw (C).
3.
Remove cap screw and nut (A).
4.
Drive out spring pin (B) and compress driveline until it can be removed.
5.
Install driveline in reverse order of removal using the following special instructions:
IMPORTANT:
Locking screw (C) and cap screw and nut (A) that fasten driveline to gear case shafts are critical connections where correct torque is extremely important.

Install NEW spring pin

Tighten M14 cap screw and nut to specification

Tighten locking screw to specification

CAUTION:
To help prevent bodily injury or death from entanglement in rotating drivelines, replace all shielding removed and replace any missing or damaged shielding. Never operate machine without shielding.
6.
Close and fasten driveline shields.
