CAUTION:
When servicing wear shoes, it will be necessary to work underneath rotary cutter. Be sure to support rotary cutter frame under center body and wing sections with safety shop stands to prevent accidental lowering. Do not position safety stands under axle or wheel supports because these components can rotate. Before servicing machine, refer to PRACTICE SAFE SERVICE PROCEDURES at the beginning of this section.

Lower rotary cutter onto safety shop stands.

Remove mounting hardware and wear shoes (A).
3.
Install new wear shoes. Install mounting hardware as follows:
Side-Lock nuts on outside of cutting chamber.
Front-Cotter pin towards center line of rotary cutter.
