Replacing Axle Suspension Spring-HX15 and HX20

CAUTION: Spring may be under pressure. Use caution when removing spring to avoid personal injury.

1. Support rear axle with safety stand or hoist at location (A).

2. Remove wheel(s) and spindle assembly from wheel arm.

CAUTION: Approximate weight of wheel arm (C), without wheel(s) and spindle, is 16 kg (35 lb). To help prevent personal injury from falling or shifting wheel arm, use a lifting device to remove.

3. Remove cotter pin and pin (D), pivot pin (E) and wheel arm (C) from axle strut.

4. Install new spring (B) in reverse order of removal.
