Replacing Tailwheel Pivot/Spindle

1. Remove tailwheel support. (See procedure in this section.)

2. Remove tailwheel.

3. Cut or grind off washer (A) and remove pivot (C).

NOTE: Make sure longer end of bushing (B) is on top when installing new pivot/spindle.

4. Insert new pivot/spindle and weld new washer on top.

5. Install tailwheel and support in reverse order of removal.

6. Apply paint to exposed metal areas.
