3000 TWENTY Series Tractors

Turn lever (A) and pivot hood guard (B) forward to gain access to front of tractor.

4000 Series Tractors

1. Remove spring locking pins (A) from pins in each side of the hood guard.

2. Remove drilled pins and swing hood guard down for access to front of tractor.

870, 970, 1070 and 990 Tractors

NOTE: Procedure can be performed with or without loader attached. Loader removed for photographic purposes.

1. Remove cap screw and nuts (B) from hood guard (A). Tilt hood guard forward to access front grille (C).

2. Pull out grille and disconnect two springs (D) to access/service battery.

855 and 955 Tractors:

NOTE: Procedure can be performed with or without loader attached. Loader removed for photographic purposes.

Remove hood guard entirely and remove front grille to gain access to front of tractor.

1. Remove cap screw and nuts (A) from hood guard (B).

2. Tilt hood guard forward and raise hood to access engine compartment.
