Prepare the Tractor

1. Prepare the tractor for the loader. Refer to Preparing the Tractor section for the following:

  • Tire requirements
  • Front tire tread settings and fender compatibility
  • Front tire load index and ballast requirements
  • Attach ballast box, if required.
  • Adjust E-ICV flow rate (6030 Series Tractors)
  • Removing front weights (if necessary)

IMPORTANT: To avoid possible damage to loader mast or exhaust tube clamp (B), reposition clamp as shown.

2. Tractor with factory-installed mounting frames and vertical exhaust (excluding 5025 series): Reposition tube clamp.

a. Loosen lock nut (A) on clamp (B) and rotate clamp toward tractor.

b. Tighten nut to specification.

Specification

Nut -Torque 70 N·m (52 lb-ft)

3. Install mounting frames. (Refer to Installation Instructions available online.)

4. Install toolbox support bracket and toolbox. (Refer to Installation Instructions available online.)

5. Install hood guard. (Refer to Installation Instructions available online.)

6. Install mid-mount couplers and hoses. (Refer to Installation Instructions available online.)

7. Install hydraulic valves and controls. (Refer to Installation Instructions available online.)
