Position Loader on Mounting Frames

1. Loosen fittings (A and B).


A-Fitting, Lift Cylinder-Head End (Blue Tie Band)
B-Fitting, Lift Cylinder-Rod End (Red Tie Band)

causym CAUTION: Approximate weight of loader without bucket/attachment is 487 kg (1074 lbs).

2. Attach lifting straps/chains to loader and overhead hoist.

3. Manually extend lift cylinders (A) 150 mm (6 in.).

4. Start tractor engine and center between loader masts, stopping tractor when bottoms of mast pins (B) are positioned directly over saddles (C) on each side.

5. Shut off tractor engine and remove key.

6. Lower loader onto saddles (C).

7. Remove lifting straps/chains on boom arms.

8. Raise front of loader using strap/chain (A) around torque tube (B).

9. Make sure mast bushings (C) are aligned with frame bushings (D) on both sides of loader.

10. 5000 Series Tractors: Install mast pin (C) and spring locking pin (B) on both sides of loader. Secure upper hose holder (A) to right-hand mast with spring locking pin (B). 5M Series Only: Secure lower hose holder (E) to bracket with spring locking pin (B).

11. 6000 and 7000 Series Tractors: Install pin (E) on both sides of loader.

  • On right-hand side, position hydraulic hoses inside pin handle, as shown. Make sure hoses are inside guide (A).
  • Insert handle end through hose holder (D) and into slot (C).
  • Fasten with spring locking pin (B).

12. Lower loader and remove lifting strap/chain.

13. Tighten hydraulic fittings (A and B) to specification.

Specification

Hose-to-Line Fittings -Torque 24 N·m (212 lb-ft)

14. Connect hydraulic hoses. (Refer to Attaching Loader section.)
