A - Tread Setting

To help prevent personal injury or death from rollover, use widest tread setting (A) to maximize stability. (See FRONT TIRE LOAD INDEX AND REAR BALLAST REQUIREMENTS in this section.)

5000 Series, 5E Series, 5M, and 5R Series Tractors: Never use a tread setting less than 1675 mm (66 in.).

6000 Series and 7000 Series Tractors: A minimum rear tread setting of 1825 mm (71-7/8 in.) is recommended.
