Adjust E-ICV Functions on 6X30 Premium
Tractors:
Check your tractor Operator's Manual to determine if valve calibration
is necessary.
The following values are adjustable for the E-ICV extend and
retract functions:
-
Flow rate.
-
Automatic shutoff time.
-
CAUTION: Avoid injury or death from objects falling on operator.
Activate loader function on page two or set all shutoff times to zero.
If a lever is unintentionally moved to detent position, inactive or
zero shutoff times prevent the loader from raising to full height.
IMPORTANT: Before operating a front loader, make sure that none
of the detent positions have programmed time limits. The E-ICVs must
be set to LOADER. See Additional Functions of the Electronic Selective
Control Valves in the tractor Operator's Manual for information.
Press button (B). Use selection wheel (A) to select (highlight)
ICV (C) and press check mark (Confirm) button to display E-ICV Front
Valve screen.
-
Select (highlight) and confirm next page (D).
-
Select loader symbol (E) and activate with confirm button.
-
Select return (F) symbol. A loader symbol appears in bottom
left corner of screen and shutoff times (J) disappear.
-
NOTE: If cell (G) is active, adjustments for ICV extend and
retract functions are independent. If cell (H) is active, adjustments
for ICV extend and retract functions are synchronized and identical.
Use selection wheel to highlight Independent Control (G) or
Synchronized Control (H) and press Confirm button.
-
CAUTION: Avoid injury or machine damage caused by excessive
flow rates. Full extension and retraction of cylinders must take at
least 2 seconds.
NOTE: Flow rate is adjustable in increments of 0.1. The minimum
is 0.2 and the maximum is 10.
Highlight a flow control (I) entry, press the confirm button,
adjust flow rate with selection wheel, and press confirm button.
-
Repeat extend and retract adjustments for remaining entries.
See your tractor Operator's Manual for further information.

Rear of Tractor—Viewed From Cab
A - No Detent Position
Help prevent personal injury or death caused by objects falling
on the operator. Selective Control Valves (SCVs) have an automatic
cylinder extend position (detent) that must NOT be used for loader
operation. Unintentional movement of the controls to the detent position
causes the loader to raise to full height and the load to fall back
on the operator.
-
Mechanical (SCV) Levers:
-
Make sure that controls knobs are positioned as shown (A).
-
See your tractor Operator's Manual for information.
-
Electronic Control Levers:
-
Set automatic shutoff time to infinity (no automatic shutoff).
-
See your tractor Operator's Manual for information.
