Prepare the Loader

CAUTION: Avoid bodily injury from falling loader. Support loader with overhead hoist during disassembly and assembly.

IMPORTANT: Avoid crushed oil lines. DO NOT wrap chains around torque tube. Chain can crush oil lines making replacement necessary.

   Remove and discard all banding (E).

2. Remove any contents from bucket (A).

3. Remove bucket from pallet.

4. Remove all screws (C) and braces (D) from loader and shipping pallet.

5. CAUTION: Approximate weight of each mast is 40 kg (88 lb.) and hood guard is 19 kg (42 lb.). To prevent personal injury use a lifting device to remove masts and hood guard.

   Use lifting device and remove masts and hood guard from pallet.

6. Remove shipping wires (B) from lift cylinders and pivot cylinders to ground.

7. Using lifting straps (F) and an overhead hoist, lift loader from pallet.

8. CAUTION: Position safety stands (G) toward rear of loader booms as shown.

   Rest loader assembly on ground and safety stands (G).

   Cut paint mask rings (A) off all cylinders.

    Ensure decal adhesion. Before applying new decals, clean all dirt, grease, oil, and moisture from application area. Surface must be at least 15° C (60° F) when decal is applied.

    NOTE: Apply bucket level indicator decal as shown. Refer to Safety Signs section for all safety decal locations.

    Clean area on bucket where decal is located.

11. Remove paper backing from decal.

12. Align and press one edge of decal on surface as shown.

13. Smooth out air pockets while slowly pressing across decal to opposite edge. Ensure complete decal adhesion.
