Install Bucket Timing Rod

1. DO NOT cycle the loader hydraulics until the timing rod is installed. Cycling the loader hydraulics before the rod is installed results in cylinder failure.

   The timing rod (D) is wired to the boom for shipping.

   A - Cotter Pin and Pin

   B - Pin

   C - Cotter Pins and Pins

   D - Timing Rod

   Remove the cotter pin and pin (A) from the bushing on the right-hand side of the bucket holder.

2. Extend the pin (B) out of the right-hand holder bushing as shown.

3. Remove cotter pins and pins (C) from both inside holder bushings.

4. Insert the timing rod (D) into the right-hand holder bushing, then extend into the left-hand holder bushing.

5. To align the pin hole with the bushing hole, push in the pin (B). Install the cotter pin and pin (A).

6. Fasten the timing rod in place on both sides using cotter pins and pins (C).
