Loader Required Minimum Ballasting

Prevent possible injury or death caused by a machine rollover. DO NOT operate the loader unless it is equipped with the proper ballast. The amount of ballast listed is the minimum required for normal loader operation. For some operations, additional ballast is required for stability.

Ballast Requirements for all 5000 Series Tractors Except 5D, 5E, 5105, and 5205

1	335 kg (740 lb) Ballast per Wheel with no Hitch Ballast
2	150 kg (330 lb) Ballast per Wheel and 300 kg (660 lb) of Hitch Ballast
3	75 kg (165 lb) Ballast per Wheel and 600 kg (1325 lb) of Hitch Ballast

Ballast Requirements for 5105 and 5205 Tractors
