Detach Loader

  1. CAUTION:

    To help prevent personal injury caused by falling or shifting loader, always detach loader on a hard level surface. Do not detach loader equipped with a pallet fork. Use of a materials bucket is recommended.

    Remove ballast box. (See procedure in this section.)



  2. Be sure loader is equipped with a materials bucket.

  3. Start tractor engine.

  4. Release parking brake and/or place transmission in NEUTRAL.

  5. Dump bucket 10—20° and lower to ground.

  6. Retract lift cylinders, raising front wheels 25—50 mm (1—2 in.) off the ground.

    Move both loader mast latches (A) upward into UNLOCKED position.



  8. CAUTION: Avoid injury from latch closure. Make sure latches are closed before leaving loader unattended.

    Extend loader lift cylinders until parking stand (C) contacts ground, masts (A) completely lift off frames (D) and latches (B) automatically snap into locked position.



  9. Engage tractor parking brake and/or place transmission in PARK.

  10. Shut off tractor engine and remove key.

  11. CAUTION:

    To help prevent injury from escaping hydraulic oil under pressure, relieve pressure in the system.

    Move control lever(s) back and forth and side-to-side (if applicable) several times. (See your tractor Operator's Manual.)

    A - Collar, Female Coupler

    B - Coupler, Male

    Disconnect hydraulic hoses from tractor:

    1. Push back collar (A) on female coupler and pull out male coupler (B).

    2. Install dust plug in female coupler and dust cap on male coupler.

    3. Repeat Steps (a and b) for remaining couplers.



  13. IMPORTANT: To prevent damage to the wiring harness, make sure harness is disconnected and clear of any protruding objects when backing tractor away from loader.

    Disconnect anti-spill power connector (B) and valve connectors (A).

    Remove hydraulic hoses from guide (A).



  15. IMPORTANT: If loader will be parked outside, cover electrical connectors on wiring harness with a plastic bag and tape bag closed with electrical tape.

    Store hoses and wiring harness on lift cylinder. DO NOT lay hoses and harness bundle on the ground.



  16. Start tractor engine.

  17. IMPORTANT: Avoid damaging hoses. Make sure hoses do not interfere with tractor when backing away from loader.

    Disengage tractor parking brake, place transmission in REVERSE and slowly move tractor away from loader.
