Detached loader can fall and cause serious injury or death. Securely store loader with bucket or attachment attached to prevent falling. Keep playing children and bystanders away from storage area.

To help prevent personal injury from exposed fork tines, always store bale fork with tines pointed down, or against bale, building or other stable object.

NOTE: Loader may be stored attached or detached from tractor.

Store loader in a dry, protected place. If stored outside, cover with a waterproof material.

Retract all hydraulic cylinders, if possible. If not, apply grease to any exposed cylinder rods to prevent rust from forming.

For detached loader:

  • Park and detach loader in dry and protected place. (Refer to DETACH LOADER in Attach and Detach Loader section.)
  • Hang hoses from holder on right-hand mast. Install protective caps on couplers, or place multicoupler in watertight bag.
  • Apply grease to all exposed cylinder rods and pivot pins to prevent rust from forming.
  • Store pivot pins in masts on both sides.
