A - Center Link Mounting Hardware

    B - Quick-Lock Pin (2 used)

To help prevent personal injury from tractor instability, be sure to attach ballast box before attempting to attach loader.

To avoid bodily injury or machine damage, put transmission in PARK and check the full range of hitch for interference or binding with the ballast box.

Do not stand between tractor and ballast box.

Using hitch points for alignment, back up the tractor to the ballast box.

  2. Engage tractor parking brake and place transmission in PARK.

  3. Shut off engine and remove key.

  4. Attach tractor draft links. Fasten with quick-lock pins (B) (stored on tractor draft links).

  5. Align center link with the upper hole in the ballast box mounting straps and install center link mounting hardware (A).

  6. Start engine.

  7. Raise ballast box and check for interference. If necessary, lower ballast box to the ground and adjust center link and lift links. (See procedures in your tractor Operator’s Manual.)
