IMPORTANT: Hardware torque MUST be checked after the first 10
hours and every 50 hours thereafter.
Check mounting frame hardware. (See FIRST 10 HOURS in Lubrication
and Maintenance section.)
-
Lubricate all grease fittings. (See Lubrication and Maintenance
section.)
-
IMPORTANT: 5X03 Series Tractors: Exhaust pipe might contact
loader hydraulic hoses. Muffler assembly may have to be repositioned
to prevent damage to tractor or loader.
Start tractor engine and check loader operation.
-
IMPORTANT: Perform operation check at least three times to help
remove air from hydraulic lines.
Cycle all cylinders at least three times as follows:
-
Extend lift cylinders and lift bucket from ground.
-
Retract bucket cylinders (roll back) and lower to the ground.

Lower loader to the ground, shut off tractor engine and remove
key.
-
Wait until muffler and engine cools down.
-
Loosen hardware (A—D).

-
Tighten cap screw (D).
-
Repeat steps 3—5 as necessary.
-
Retract bucket cylinders completely and lower loader to ground.
-
Shut off tractor engine and remove key.
